About

Young plants often show white or cream foliage first and grow slowly until more green appears. Pods are meant to run longer than a jalapeño, with striping that fades as they ripen red. Shape and length still wander from plant to plant. White-leaved plants can scorch in harsh sun. Heat is undocumented. Kitchen use follows other edible ornamentals. Pickle, dry, or slice when you like the look.

Backstory

Matt of Matt's Peppers, a former Alaska fisherman who now breeds from a backyard garden, first showed this named line in 2023. He sells seed from his own plants. Growers pick for white early leaves and longer striped fruit.
