About
Large, thick-walled pods with textured skin, often carrying a short tail. They start green, pass through light yellow, and finish creamy white or peach. Flavor is fruity with a sweet edge under the heat. Plants are productive and bushy, suited to pots or the garden in a long warm season.
Backstory
WhyNot was bred by Danilo Marini of Space Chilli Peppers in Monteprandone, Italy. The cross is still segregating, so plants sold as F3 to F5 produce a mix of large creamy-white, peach, and occasional red pods. Growers continue selecting for size and color.
