About

T-Rex Mustard is a mustard-colored phenotype of the T-Rex superhot, itself a hybrid of 7 Pot Douglah and Bhutlah. Pods are large, heavily wrinkled and knobby with pronounced stingers, ripening from green to a rich mustard or brownish-yellow. Thin-walled with intense floral-fruity aroma and a delayed, building heat. Still somewhat unstable, with variation in shape and size common across seed lines. Popular among collectors for its prehistoric appearance and extreme pungency.

Backstory

Modern U.S. superhot hybrid derived from 7 Pot Douglah × Bhutlah. The mustard phenotype was discovered by Justin White (White Hot Peppers, Michigan) while growing out T-Rex Yellow. Still regarded as unstable in many lines and circulated mainly through specialty seed sellers and collector networks.
