About

A bushy, compact annual chilli pepper up to 30 cm tall that produces large numbers of small, hot fruits changing from creamy-yellow to orange and red as they ripen. The highly branched dwarf plants average 15-30 cm in height and can be covered with hundreds of small upright peppers approximately 1.5-2.5 cm long. Valued mainly as an ornamental for its striking multi-colored display in containers, patios, borders, and indoor settings, the peppers are also edible with a fruity-tangy flavor and noticeable heat. It grows best in full sun with moderate watering in moist but well-drained soil and is suitable for both outdoor summer cultivation and year-round indoor growing on sunny windowsills.
