About

Leaves are heavily splashed white, green, and purple on a short plant, usually 45 to 60 cm tall. Pods are conical, about 5 to 8 cm long, and start dark purple with stripes or marble before they finish red. Flavor is smoky and a little fruity, with medium heat. Some plants throw thin Thai-shaped fruit and others thicker pods. Give it full sun and well-drained soil.

Backstory

North Carolina hybridizer Eric Knight named this line around 2022 for two growers who pulled him into pepper work, Rich Blood of Georgia and Jimmy Pickles. Blood grew the first generation. Bryan Townshend later selected the dwarf variegated plants now sold as Sport and related packets. Seed on the market is usually several generations on and can still segregate.
