Credit: Paul W. Bosland and Danise Coon · 2015

Parents:
- Permagreen (Not in Capsi yet)
- Early Jalapeño (Not in Capsi yet)

NMSU’s 2015 HortScience release and Circular 706 both name a 1995 Permagreen × Early Jalapeño founding cross, then three backcrosses to jalapeño type. Both parents are sold as their own named cultivars.
