About

Small, stubby, mushroom-shaped pods with heavily blistered, wrinkled red skin and thin walls packed with placenta. Flavor starts fruity and lightly floral before the intense, fast heat dominates the tongue and throat. Plants are prolific and reach 90–120 cm.

Backstory

The base Naglah line is widely attributed to a Chile Pepper Institute cross of Ghost Pepper and 7 Pot Douglah at New Mexico State University. In a 2015 growout, Refining Fire Chiles (Jim Duffy) selected and named the more squat, heavily blistered oddball plants as Naglah Beast.
