About

Fruit reaches about 14 cm, skinny and bumpy, with shapes that run curly, hooked, or nearly straight. Skin is wrinkled and walls are thin. The smell is fruity. Flavor is a sweet cherry note over a scorpion-like bite. Plants are productive and usually sit around 90 cm, though they can pass 120 cm in the ground. The line is still unstable, so expect odd shapes.

Backstory

Kevin Bane of Bane's Best in Tennessee grew this red color after his Mantis Claw plants had set only yellow fruit for four seasons. Seed is sold open-pollinated and not fully fixed.
