MA Warthog is a gnarly Capsicum chinense superhot from Matthew Arthur of Hot Springs, Arkansas. The named type ripens red. The line is still unstable, so pod shape and color can wander from plant to plant.
Flavor & Use

About
Pods are heavily wrinkled and warped, with a dense placenta and plenty of oil. They start green and finish red on the main type. Flavor is fruity and floral before a long superhot burn takes over. Plants yield well and can grow into very large bushes in a long, warm season. Growers use the fruit in tiny amounts for sauce and powder.
Backstory
Matthew Arthur of Hot Springs, Arkansas began sharing seed in 2024 and asked anyone who sold it to send the proceeds to a children's charity. Packets are still segregating, so yellow, orange, peach, white, and chocolate pods show up beside the red type.
