About

This decorative chili features attractive purple leaves, stems, and flowers on a bushy, compact plant reaching roughly 50–100 cm tall. The small, upright, short conical to triangular fruits ripen from purple through yellow, orange, and red, often displaying multiple colors simultaneously. Fruits have thin flesh and deliver hot pungency. It performs well in pots, tubs, or open ground in suitable climates and is noted for high yields and ornamental value.

Backstory

Developed and maintained through biodynamic breeding in eastern Germany. Propagated at Gut Mönchhof in the Meissen foothills (Saxony) by Christhild Brauch and at Gärtnerei Apfeltraum in Müncheberg (Brandenburg).
