About
Fruit ripens from green to bright red and runs about two inches long. Skin is heavily pebbled and the flesh is thick. Flavor is mildly sweet and floral with a short bitter finish. Heat is hot. Fresh pods go into sauce, powder, and fruit jelly.
Backstory
Khang Starr first grew this line in 2016 and sent seed to grower Dave in West Virginia. Dave's wife Donna named it Khangsta during the 2017 season. The red pheno is sold as KS Khangsta. A yellow sport and a longer off-type are listed separately.
