About

Jay's Yellow Ghost Scorpion produces 3-4 inch pods that ripen from green to vibrant yellow. Many pods exhibit distinctive scorpion-style tails and thin, bumpy skin like classic Ghost peppers. The plants are strong, prolific, and reach over 3 feet tall. Flavor is fruity with hints of citrus and delivers powerful lingering superhot heat (800,000–1,100,000 SHU).

Backstory

A cross between Jay's Peach Ghost Scorpion (an accidental Ghost x Trinidad Scorpion hybrid discovered by Jay Weaver at Meadow View Farm in Bowers, PA) and Yellow Ghost pepper. Developed at Tyler Farms' Innovation Acre project and named in homage to the Pennsylvania pepper pioneer.
