Jalafuego is a Capsicum annuum f1 hybrid from California, United States. Capsi’s sourced range is 4,000–6,000 SHU (Official breeder). Flavor is grassy, bright, earthy. Used for stuffing, poppers, salsa, pickling, grilling. Heat is a range, not a single marketing number.
Jalafuego is a large-fruited jalapeño hybrid grown for extra-long smooth fruit and heavy yields. Most gardeners pick it at the dark-green stage the way grocery jalapeños are sold.

About
Pods are long and tapered, usually 9 to 10 cm and sometimes up to 15 cm, with thick walls and smooth dark-green skin that finishes red. The flavor is the familiar bright, grassy jalapeño bite, just with more flesh per fruit. The large cavity is useful for stuffing and poppers. The same pods go into salsa, pickles, or the smoker for chipotles. Plants run about 60 to 75 cm tall and take roughly 70 days from transplant to green fruit. Fruit is slower to check than many early jalapeños and holds length when heat would shorten other types.
Backstory
Sakata Seed America bred Jalafuego as a commercial hybrid for growers who needed a jalapeño that stayed long and kept producing under disease pressure. Seed houses have sold it since at least the late 2000s.
