About
Slender pointed pods with thin walls and a crisp texture. Immature fruit is glossy purple-black (from anthocyanins) with dark stems and foliage, ripening to bright orange. Flavor is fresh, sharp, and slightly fruity or nutty, with the clean immediate heat typical of Thai-style annuum chilies. Prolific plants that work well fresh, dried, or as ornamental specimens.
Backstory
Developed by Sherwood's Seeds in Pennsylvania with input from Greg Hill. Marketed as a Thai-style cooking chili for its clean heat and flavor, though it is a modern ornamental selection rather than a traditional Thai landrace.
