About

Pods are curved and pendant with a tapered tip, ripening from green through a purple blush to creamy ivory. Flavor is bright and citrusy with lemon-lime notes and a mild nutty finish. Plants are compact and productive, reaching 60–90 cm under full sun.

Backstory

The original Devil’s Tongue was found growing among habaneros on an Amish farm in Pennsylvania in the 1990s. The white form is a later color selection of that line, stabilized by growers for its creamy ivory pods.
