A large, gnarled Capsicum chinense superhot with a deeply wrinkled, brain-like surface that ripens from green to a soft light peach—often photographing more orange than it looks in hand. Pods typically run about 5–8 cm long with medium walls and a sizable placenta. Heat is in the million-SHU class: fast, aggressive, and concentrated in the mouth and throat. Under the burn, tasters consistently note a clean, sweet-citrus and floral flavor. Plants are productive mid- to late-season bushes, but the line is still being stabilized, so shape and color can drift.

Brain Collapse Peach is an early-2020s Capsicum chinense hybrid from Italian hobby breeder Drax Diego, whose work is known in seed-exchange circles for ornamental superhots. The name comes from the pods’ heavily wrinkled, brain-like surface. Parentage has not been published by the breeder; catalogs still treat the line as unstable, with pod shape and color able to vary between plants. Seeds were circulating among specialist vendors by 2022.
