About
Pods are heavily wrinkled and irregular, often looking like a blend of 7 Pot and scorpion types, ripening from green to bright red. Flavor starts with fruity sweetness (bubblegum or mango notes) then turns earthy and slightly smoky before the superhot burn builds and lingers. Plants are productive under warm conditions and suit experienced growers making sauces or dried heat.
Backstory
UK grower Jon Harper produced Borg 9 after working with the 7 Pot Bubblegum line he had developed earlier. The name is widely linked to actor Ernest Borgnine; some growers also connect it to the Star Trek Borg. Seeds began circulating in the mid-2010s.
