## Heritage

Landrace

Biquinho Pepper is a traditional landrace.

Embrapa treats Biquinho as a C. chinense type farmers selected in Minas Gerais’ Triângulo Mineiro, with no named parents. Baker Creek independently calls the same pepper a Brazilian landrace; BRS Moema and BRS Tui are later selections from that group.
