CARDI’s Trinidad manual lists Seven Pod as a farmer-kept landrace, and Baker Creek sells Yellow Seven Pot as a Trinidadian heirloom with no parents. Grower accounts treat the yellow fruit as a natural color strain of that landrace, not a planned hybrid.
