About

Pods are roughly golf-ball sized, heavily wrinkled and bumpy, mostly round with a tiny pointed tip or short tail. Flavor is fruity and tangy, though the superhot burn usually dominates. Plants reach 3 to 4 feet and set an above-average crop under warm conditions.

Backstory

The 7 Pot family is a Trinidad landrace whose name comes from the old claim that one pod can season seven pots of stew. Defcon is a later named reddish-caramel phenotype of the brown form that circulated among US growers in the early 2010s.
